Thank you FivePoint Newhall Ranch
Thank you to FivePoint Newhall Ranch for sponsoring our inaugural Rainbow Build event on June 3, 2017! As a Pride Sponsor, they’ve helped us kick off Pride Month with a volunteering event that celebrates the LGBTQA+ community, especially those who have served, or who have had a loved one serve in the military. “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” was the official U.S. policy for military service, issued in December of 1993 and officially repealed September 20, 2011. LGBTQA+ military veterans risked discrimination and made sacrifices in order to serve our country, and for that we are grateful. Thank you to all who sponsored and volunteered at this event to bring awareness, and to help build homes for LGBTQA+ veterans living in our Santa Clarita Veteran Enriched Neighborhood®.
