Harold Cox served in the United States Navy for 9 years until he was injured in combat. Upon returning home he was working, but lost his job unexpectedly. Harold was unaware of the benefits that were owed to him for his time served. Missing benefits, coupled with the loss of his job, led Harold to find himself homeless and living in a shelter.
After some guidance, Harold was able to receive the benefits that he was entitled to. Now, he is happy to have moved into an apartment of his own. With the help of the Habitat for Humanity SF/SCV ReStore, Harold also has the furniture and household items he needs for his new home.
Sadly, there are thousands of other Veterans, just like Harold, who need our help. Are you ready to serve the men and women who have so courageously served for us? Click here to make a 100% tax-deductible contribution today!
