Donna Deutchman, President & CEO of Habitat for Humanity SF/SCV and Homes 4 Families was selected to serve as a Senior Fellow for the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs Senior Fellows Leadership Program. Through this program, distinguished leaders from the public, nonprofit, and private sectors are invited to lend their time and expertise to mentor UCLA masters students.
Donna is currently mentoring Sonia Suresh, a Master of Urban and Regional Planning Candidate, and John Witkowski, a U.S. Navy Veteran and Master of Urban and Regional Planning candidate. Donna’s long and diverse background in university research, nonprofit leadership, project planning and development, and government relations will help Sonia and John gain invaluable career guidance and obtain applied knowledge and experience as they move forward in their education and career paths.
About the UCLA Luskin Leadership Fellows Program
UCLA Luskin Leadership Fellows is a high-level apprenticeship program for exceptional public policy, social welfare and urban planning graduate students that serve within selected government agencies and nonprofit and civic organizations to work on research, policy, advocacy and applied projects tailored to the students’ tracks of study and consistent with the mission and goals of the organization.
