AFFORDABLE HOUSING
Through this Enriched Neighborhood® program, United States veterans of any age or conflict (including National Guard) can qualify for a two or three bedroom home and pay no more than 30% of their monthly income for mortgage, utilities, taxes, and HOA insurance and dues. Built in collaboration with CalVet and the City of Palmdale, this 56-unit neighborhood will feature areas for children, an urban community garden, and several outdoor and common areas. Families enrolled in the program will also have access to free services and trainings that address the specific needs of veteran first-time home buyers.
To learn more about qualifications and how to apply, contact Habitat for Humanity SF/SCV’s Family Services Department at (818) 884-8808 or by email at CVillavicencio@HumanityCA.org.
*Qualifying income minimums and maximums are determined by family size and defined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). We have 5 homes available to families whose income is at the lowest level. 41 homes are available for those between $51,000 and 86,150 (80% of average income.)
