Brevin Bowerman is a 16 year old Eagle Scout. This is an impressive age to reach such heights in scouting. Most boys do not earn Eagle Scout until closer to the age of 18. Brevin however, came to Habitat for Humanity in May of 2015 with a plan and a goal. He wanted to earn his Eagle Scout ranking, and as is the tradition, he also wanted to make a difference. Brevin insisted on completing a project that would make a great and lasting difference for our veteran families. Brevin decided he wanted to help get each of the 26 military families of Phase 1 of our Santa Clarita Enriched Neighborhood® a fruit tree, a part of our Enriched Neighborhood (R). Brevin handled everything, from getting 26 trees donated, to recruiting volunteers to help plant them. In December 2015, Brevin and his volunteers completed the planting of trees, surrounding and supporting each other with encouragement and love. We would like to thank him for being such a hard-working and philanthropic young man. Congratulations Brevin on your Eagle Scout accomplishment!
